Terms of Use

1. Who can use Room

You must be at least 13 and meet the minimum age to consent to the service in your country. If you are not legally an adult, you must have permission from a parent or legal guardian. You may not use Room if doing so would violate applicable law.

2. Your account

Use an email address you control and keep sign-in codes private. You are responsible for activity you authorize through your account. Do not impersonate another person, misrepresent your identity, or access someone else's account. Contact us if you suspect unauthorized access.

3. Voice messages and availability

Room lets friends exchange recorded voice messages. Features may vary by device, version, and beta access. A feature described as coming soon is not a promise of availability. Delivery, notifications, and access depend on connectivity and third-party services. Room is not an emergency service; contact local emergency services in an emergency.

4. Your content

You retain ownership of your voice messages, profile photos, and other content. You grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to host, process, store, and transmit that content solely to operate and protect Room and deliver it to the people you choose. You must have the rights and permissions needed to share it, including any consent required to record another person.

Recipients may save or record content outside Room. Do not share anything you would not want them to retain. Deleting your account cannot delete copies independently held by others.

5. Keep it safe

Do not use Room for harassment, threats, exploitation, sexual content involving minors, hate speech, non-consensual intimate content, fraud, spam, or other illegal activity. Do not share content that violates someone else's privacy or intellectual property rights. Do not probe accounts, bypass access controls, disrupt the service, or use automation to abuse it.

Contact us to report harmful content or conduct. We may investigate reports and restrict accounts or remove content when reasonably necessary to protect users, enforce these terms, or comply with law.

6. Permissions and third parties

Microphone access is needed to record. Profile photos and notifications are optional. You can manage permissions in your device settings. App stores and external services have their own terms. Room is an independent product and is not affiliated with the ten ten app.

7. Ending your use

You may stop using Room at any time and request account deletion through Settings > Delete account. If you cannot access your account, contact us. We may suspend access for a breach of these terms, a security risk, or a legal requirement. Our Privacy Policy explains deletion and retention.

8. Service limitations

Room, including beta features, may contain errors or be interrupted. To the extent permitted by law, the service is provided as available without guarantees of uninterrupted operation or fitness for a particular purpose. Nothing in these terms excludes mandatory consumer rights or liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including liability for fraud or willful misconduct.

9. Changes and applicable law

We may update these terms as Room evolves. We will update the date and give notice of material changes through the service or other appropriate means. Changes apply prospectively. Delaware law governs these terms to the extent it does not override mandatory protections in your place of residence. You retain any right to bring a claim in courts available under applicable consumer law.

For support, privacy requests, or concerns about content or another user, contact Takeoff Labs LLC. Include your Room username and enough detail to identify the issue, but never send your sign-in code.
